Erouška 2

Truly government salvation?

The Ministry of Health officially launched Erouška 2 today, and I'm wondering in vain what its effect actually is.
In the spring, when there were dozens of infected people and the disease could be monitored, this could certainly have been worthwhile.
But now? With today's 3,123 infected and the number continuing to rise, the tracing, which has been going on for about a week (but no one has admitted it yet), has effectively ended...

And since the tests are not even working due to the overload - and in the future, due to capacity reasons, only serious cases will be tested, the data and numbers in Erouška will not be up-to-date and relevant at all...

Then of course there is the time factor – the infected person we met was probably asymptomatic at the time – they only appeared after a few days and he then went for a test, which takes about a day to order and the result takes another 24-48 hours. So the text message saying that you met someone positive may arrive in 4, but more likely in 6-7 days…

But I wonder, even if the data were reliable... what would it tell me that I met someone infected somewhere on September 12th (strictly anonymously, of course). And what about such information?
In my opinion, absolutely nothing - if I'm fine, I feel healthy, I'll still behave the same way, and if I feel unwell, I'll stay home and get treatment - so I'll do exactly the same as if I didn't have the information...

Not to mention the fact that these people, whose phone beeps with a potential Covid contact, will run to get tested and unnecessarily overload the already overloaded testing system even more.

Update: I didn't really care... - the message will arrive after 8 days... 🙂
