It started with promises about a Covid-19 vaccine and ends with the deliberate blaming of the nation!
Every now and then, the media will bubble up with a guaranteed vaccine that's almost ready and about to be approved (one just today). It almost feels like a crutch to ward off the gloom. In the spring, they were talking about this winter, now they're talking about next spring.

The great thing about this article is that it is not biased, because it was written in 2019. Other texts and interviews with scientists, which can be found in large numbers on the internet, speak similarly.
Since there is a huge amount of money involved in pharmaceuticals and there is an incredible lobby, it can be assumed that if clinical tests could be "cheated" and a vaccine made faster, companies would have done it long ago.
So how is it possible that there is now talk of a SAFE and EFFECTIVE vaccine within months?
And we're not even talking about the production capacities and logistics to vaccinate the entire population. That's simply completely unrealistic.
In my opinion, the only remotely "real" option - at an unknown time - is to vaccinate ONLY at-risk individuals, but with an INSUFFICIENTLY TESTED vaccine.
And do you think that most people will actually voluntarily have something experimental applied to them and become guinea pigs because pharmaceutical companies will say that they will not take any responsibility for side effects? The states will be responsible for compensation... that is, all of us!

In the article, he briefly and very obligingly says that governments should stop lying, that vaccination will solve something too much and bring people back to normal life...
At the same time, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is subordinate to the vision of a vaccine - that is the official government plan and the scientists' mantra: "Now let's hold out at home for a few more months, we will save lives and it will go down - we are waiting for a vaccine!"„
It seems, but it simply won't come in sufficient quality and quantity anytime soon...
Yes, the numbers will indeed drop for a short time after the lockdown, but as soon as society opens up again and people are not sufficiently exposed, the numbers will skyrocket again – the virus will not miraculously disappear. Epidemiologists know this very well!
And we can't be closed all the time - time is running out for people, especially children.
And how much is this government and „scientific“ experiment and fun actually costing us?
Finally, the first numbers have appeared.
Depending on the degree of "closure", the lockdown costs our economy 1-5 billion crowns DAILY! Unfortunately, the human brain is not able to imagine large numbers well - so I will write 1,000 - 5,000 million EVERY DAY.
These are just the losses of companies - this does not include state spending on healthcare and other social expenses, which are enormous + dozens of dubious contracts without tenders.
The first government package alone (500 billion) cost each of us, including children, 50,000 crowns, which we and our children will have to pay someday.

In mid-October, epidemiology professor Beran sent a proposal to the government that the risk group needed to be protected, not everyone.
The risk of dying from COVID-19 is 300 times higher for older people over 65 than for children and the working-age population. Moreover, people over 65 contribute not only to the death statistics, but also to the hospitalization statistics from 93 %!

Of the total number of people who have died of Covid in our country so far, ONLY 21% are of working age (in addition, almost all of them suffered from other associated diseases).
The mortality rate from Covid for people under 55 is comparable to the flu (0.1% – 0.2%) and in young children it is even many times lower – in fact zero. (No child deaths from Covid have yet been recorded in our country, whereas several children die from the flu in our country every year.)
The average age of a person who dies of Covid in our country is around 80 years old – while the average life expectancy in the Czech Republic is, according to statistics, 76 years for men and 82 years for women. Perversely, it can be said that a person who dies of Covid in our country lives longer than is normal in our country…

Unfortunately, most people think that staying at home is saving the most lives, but the numbers don't quite bear that out. It's only partially true, and at a huge cost.
The numbers in the most at-risk group (85+) do not correlate at all with the overall trend. (Figure below)
Since the "closing of everything" on October 21, the curves have started to flatten - up to the age category 85+ (but also 75+). These categories are BY FAR THE MOST RISKFUL and their probability of dying from covid is even 14% - 22%, according to various estimates.
Only from the state lockdown on October 21st until today, November 9th, 17,000 seniors in this 75+ and 85+ category have been infected, of which 2,300 - 3,700 will unfortunately likely die.
So, not the presented indiscipline of young people on the streets, but the government's complete inability to protect risk groups in social facilities - and it has had time to do so since spring!
Meanwhile, only recently has the government begun to formally prepare for testing the most at-risk patients in nursing homes...
These are the exact people who are filling hospitals and are dying right now!!!
Infection by age
That's the policy of our government - lies, concealment, ignorance, incompetence, or perhaps a hidden intention to sow fear so that the government won't be seen doing business with billions of dollars.
I have no idea.
But the result is only unnecessarily closed schools, a suffocating economy, bankrupt companies, damaged social relations, people's psyche and a productive population, and children sitting at home.
Whatever the reason - whether incompetence or intention, it is in no way the fault of the people who, according to the government, "are not following the measures very well, and therefore we need to be even tougher!"„
Some theories also suggest that the sooner the young population, which is currently closed and is almost completely unaffected by Covid, gets infected and dies, the sooner it can prevent the spread to older, more at-risk populations.
And the exact opposite is happening here... so perhaps another unnecessary death, thanks to another bad decision.

But I have a feeling that none of the challenges will help much, because we can hardly expect a lying and incompetent government that only pursues its own interests and businesses to remedy what it is itself further aggravating with further actions.
The only thing I'm really afraid of is that if the media doesn't change its rhetoric of fear and altered reality, half of the people will still be afraid without any real reason to be, and the other half may soon take to the streets.
And then there will be reason to be afraid... 🙁
