Mainly about personal freedom and personal responsibility and how to say NO to the system – and everything else I write about in my latest book. Start with yourself – 3 parts, uncensored with Martina Kociánová.
"Since Covid, I've discovered that I don't persuade, nor do I actually discuss. My way of saying it is: 'Take it or leave it.' I write it because I feel it needs to be said, or so that I have an alibi that I said it. You can't convince a person who doesn't want to and hasn't gotten around to it. It's like a horse: You can lead him to water, but he has to drink himself," says writer and director Jan Tománek in an interview for the program Forward to the Past.
"The more people wake up, the greater the chance that it will turn into something a little more humane than a gray global digital concentration camp. If the system is corrupt, dysfunctional, and more and more people wake up, it leads to the destruction of the system. And that should be the path. It's about what will establish a new system," says writer Jan Tománek in an interview for the program Forward to the Past.
"The media used to be the watchdog of democracy, but today, on the contrary, the media has become what keeps the system alive. Because without the media, politicians cannot afford what they allow themselves to do. The media has completely lost its function in helping and advocating for people," says writer Jan Tománek in an interview for the program Forward to the Past.
