On Friday it was exactly a week since I said ENOUGH!
ENOUGH of censorship, banning and stupid social networks – I'll make my own!
I spent the whole week reading manuals, open sources, learning a little programming, VPS, cloud systems, caches... My family didn't see me much, I didn't read the newspapers and didn't follow what our Pávkové and Bábové were doing... (super cleansing) 😉
Well, on Monday I started a test run of the network X Tomanek and expected that the onslaught of people would not allow it and everything would fall down – but the network is running like clockwork, in a moment it will be 1000!!! active users, it's buzzing and it's like living in a hive. 😳
With the robust hardware I have so far, it should handle tens of thousands of users – but it won't be a problem to scale it – we'll see...
A quiet space of normal people ONLY with names and faces – no cats, trolls and zombies – by invitation ONLY and people will invite each other.
When you follow someone, you actually see what they're following, no recommendations, you can create and follow thematic spaces.
Simply everything I always wanted and didn't have - something like Facebook before 2009, but much more sophisticated.
