Here again I have an image of Western healthcare...
In the fall, I had my biennial check-up with the doctor and my cholesterol was already quite high, 7.5 (it had been increasing in recent years - probably hereditary), and the young doctor said that it couldn't be done like this and started automatically prescribing me pills - statins.
I asked her if she knew what the heck they were and what they did – she said where I found out because they were SAFE and EFFECTIVE! I said I would try it myself without them…
She said that it was impossible with such high values and ostentatiously wrote on her card "Refuses medication!".
So I thought I'd do it just to prove to her that it's possible and maybe even to annoy her a little... 🤣 - it's not like good motivation. 😎
I more or less stopped exercising and eating and just added supplements – in the morning Berberine and Ginkgo biloba. The most powerful, however, is the extract from Red rice, but I had to stop taking it because it gave me liver pain (unfortunately it sometimes does and BEWARE, it actually also contains natural statins) – so with just these two natural products I reduced my weight by almost 20% to 6.11 in 4 months!!!
Now I have discovered Vegetable Phytosterols, which should reduce it even more – I'll see.
Anyway, on my own, WITHOUT any pills that hunt the body and have dozens of side effects, including 20% increasing the chance of diabetes 😳 - and instead everything 100% naturally.
And the doctor's reaction - CLEARLY ZERO, she didn't even bother to write me any answers to the tests I sent her... 😳
It's actually like a copy machine, which I experienced years ago, when I lowered my high blood pressure again and described it in a book. Start with yourself:
Moreover, some research shows that low values are ON THE OTHER HAND far more dangerous and artificially lowering them is evil. I also read that there has NEVER been a proven connection between cholesterol and clogged arteries (just a correlation)...
But I read somewhere else that the danger of LOW cholesterol mainly concerns old people, where it shows some other problems - so the connection between longevity and high cholesterol that came out somewhere is also actually misleading...
I just don't know – I try to keep to myself like with everything else –everything in moderation and a healthy lifestyle – that certainly can't hurt.
By the way, I looked it up and these are the tables showing how the "recommended" values changed...
It certainly has nothing to do with the statin business… 😉
You will best support my work buys books,
if you don't read, you can and otherwise....

There are many herbs and spices to reduce it, just go through e.g. "bylinkyprovsechny" etc. But the first thing that comes to mind and which helped me a lot is lecithin, which reduces cholesterol quite well when taken for at least two months. Lecithin is actually a safe and natural alternative to statins, which only destroy health and nothing else, and it optimizes lipid metabolism without disrupting their basic functions. What else I remember about it is that it helps reduce homocysteine levels through betaine derived from choline, which also reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke. I think lecithin is also great for the liver.
The best sources include egg yolks, soybeans, and sunflower seeds. Supplements (choose non-GMO sunflower lecithin!) offer therapeutic doses for targeted support, and I find these supplements to be the most effective 🙂
Among other things, try to find out what ordinary raisins can do and you will be surprised, just a handful a day is enough and they make you sleep great and even balance your blood pressure... there is a lot, you just need to want it, search, read and don't go to the doctor, don't use prescription crap at all, which is only harmful and nothing else.
