It's been almost a year since I wrote about my new social network - at the time with the working title X Tomanek (last year's founding text).
Now I have changed the name and bought my own domain for the network – www.tompost.cz
Today, there are already 4,000 people on TomPost, it is fully active, it allows the same and, for example, in filters and search, far more than Facebook.
And most importantly – you can actually see who you are following, which Facebook hasn't done for a long time!
I have now tested how censorship on X and Facebook works in the following image:
And be careful: X counts every view, even if the post is seen by the same person multiple times. TomPost only counts real people who saw the post, and each person no more than once a day. So those 500 views on TomPost are 500 real readers.
These are my posts that I posted a few days ago on my X profile (7,000 followers) and on the TomPost network, where there are currently 4,000 people, but everyone REALLY sees what they're watching.
The numbers are quite telling and half of the views from X are from people who, of course, don't even follow me...
So I'm definitely ending X. I'm staying on Facebook, only because I have 56,000 followers there, so it's not that crazy, but still, a post is often only shown to 25,000 of my followers... but maybe another post about my work or my network is only shown to 300-500 people!
Yes, using the network is not 100% without errors, like Facebook (although… 😉), but that's the thing, everyone has to take some small steps and give up their laziness and old habits, but I'm still trying to improve it.
We also know very well that shopping at a chain and paying with a card is so easy... yet we suspect that it is wrong and leads us to ruin.
We all need to start with ourselves and do something to bring the network back to life, because Facebook and its new algorithms and censorship are truly unsustainable... It's up to you... - I've prepared a free tool.
I will be happy for every normal person who has had enough of Facebook and X censorship and joins.
There are no fake accounts and trolls on the network because people follow the only strict rule ONLY with a name and a photo! When you come to visit someone, you also don't have a face under a mask and a fake name – that's not how a quality relationship works never build!
